Interim Report January – March 2023

– We have started the year with a healthy profit from property management, despite these challenging times. Int the first quarter we sold Skotten 6 on Drottninggatan in Stockholm. This deal is in line with our portfolio strategy and also strengthens our financial position, says Annica Ånäs, CEO of Atrium Ljungberg.

International media group to Katarinahuset in Slussen

Atrium Ljungberg has signed a contract for 1,900 square metres with an international media group that is moving their Swedish head office to the newly renovated, iconic Katarinahuset building. The office has one of Stockholm’s most beautiful views located at new Slussen where the whole city meets in a dynamic mix of culture, restaurants, workplaces and city vibes.

Atrium Ljungberg is to become a co-owner of the community and coworking company ‘A house’, which has a clear expansion plan

Atrium Ljungberg is acquiring 50% of the shares in A house, which offers community, coworking and creative development. Since the start of 2016, it has been a hub for many innovative operations, from the incubator of the Stockholm School of Economics to the OMAKA development brewery. A house is now investing in expanding to a number of new locations in Stockholm. In the next few years A house is planning to open in Atrium Ljungberg’s properties, including Nya Slussen and Slakthusområdet.

Expansion of an upper-secondary school further enhances Campus Sickla

Atrium Ljungberg has concluded an agreement with Nacka Municipality to extend the lease for an upper-secondary school that is already in Sickla and expand the school building. This new lease contract comprises a total of more than 10,000 m[2], including the expanded premises, and relates to the popular YBC (Young Business Creatives), whose building will be expanded, side by side with the music school Rytmus and the upper-secondary school Designgymnasiet. This investment in Campus Sickla is part of the development of Sickla as a city district that boasts a mix of education, jobs, residentials, culture and services.
