Contract for Mälarterrassen in Slussen finalised

In mid-December 2023, the City Council adopted the contract for Mälarterrassen in its final decision-making body. This means that Atrium Ljungberg, together with the City of Stockholm, may now progress with the development of a unique meeting place by the water at Slussen.

In April 2023, Moody’s confirmed Atrium Ljungberg’s rating at Baa2 but changed the outlook from stable to negative. Moody’s has now confirmed an unchanged rating, i.e., Baa2 with a negative outlook.

Stockholm University of the Arts to Slakthusområdet

Atrium Ljungberg has signed a lease contract with Stockholm University of the Arts in Slakthusområdet, where the university will gather all of its operations. The new district where the university’s premises will be located covers almost 36,000 m[2] GFA and is scheduled for completion in 2030.

Atrium Ljungberg changes its dividend policy and strengthens its execution power of the project portfolio

Atrium Ljungberg will conduct its business with low financial risk-taking in order to enable the implementation of profitable and value-creating urban development projects. In the light of increased investment pace in urban development projects, the Board of Directors believes that a lower dividend payout ratio will be appropriate and has therefore decided on a new dividend policy.

Interim Report January – September 2023

– Our profit from property management is continuing to develop well with growth in the third quarter of 26%, which like earlier quarters is due to good rental growth, good cost control and stable net interest income, says Annica Ånäs, CEO Atrium Ljungberg. We are continuously working to improve our management efficiency, prioritize among our projects and regulate the capital structure. It is pleasing to see that our efforts are getting results, Annica Ånäs concludes.

Stockholms Auktionsverk commits to Sickla

Atrium Ljungberg has signed a lease contract with Stockholms Auktionsverk, which is moving its operations to Sickla. The contract comprises more than 1,700 m[2] in the old EXPO building in the heart of Sickla. This move further strengthens Sickla's position within sustainability and reuse.

Interim Report January – June 2023

– We have continued to report positive net letting, while profit from property management has increased by 24%. This is a result of strong rental growth, effective cost control and stable net interest income, says Annica Ånäs, CEO of Atrium Ljungberg. In June we launched Stockholm Wood City – the world’s largest urban wooden construction project. I am so proud of this initiative, which has attracted widespread international coverage. This is a milestone, not only for our company, but also for Swedish innovation, concludes Annica Ånäs.
