Project development for long-term value creation

Atrium Ljungberg’s business model is based on owning, managing and developing properties and urban districts in a responsible and sustainable way. This means that we take responsibility for the entire value chain. The company has a project portfolio corresponding to an investment volume of more than SEK 40 billion in land already owned or land allocations obtained. Our objective in the coming years is to invest up to SEK 3 billion annually, with a project return of at least 20 per cent.

Development in connection with the existing portfolio

The majority of the development portfolio is located in Stockholm, with a focus on Hagastaden, Slakthusområdet, Slussen and Sickla. A total of 94 per cent of the project portfolio is located near existing or planned metro stations in Stockholm.

Project development is primarily carried out in connection with the existing property portfolio, where Atrium Ljungberg has extensive experience of active and long-term management. This creates favourable conditions for step-by-step development, where new projects can be added over time and contribute both through project profits and new cash flows, as well as increased earnings capacity in the existing portfolio.
